There are few stories quite so timeless as that of a young man with big dreams who sets out from his home in search of adventure. He won't give in, no matter how many people's pets he has to batter into unconsciousness with his own pets.

Seriously, it's kind of weird how that works. In the Pokemon world, if your pets beat up someone else's pets, you'll get money for it. Maybe it's just me, but it seems weird to offer monetary incentive to kids for getting their pets to fight one another.
